Project policy / T01

A harbor note is not a ferry contract

Use Copperline Harbor for independent orientation, then verify any changing, commercial or personal decision with the organization responsible for it.

Version: August 2026

Informational use

Copperline Harbor provides general visitor planning and historical interpretation. It is not a ticket seller, travel agency, ferry operator, tour guide, medical provider, accessibility assessor or emergency service. Reading the site does not create a service or professional relationship.

No official affiliation

The site is not operated, sponsored or endorsed by the National Park Service, Statue of Liberty National Monument, Statue City Cruises, City Experiences or any other organization mentioned. Third-party names identify sources and subjects; they remain the property of their owners.

Tickets and transactions

No ticket, reservation, schedule, price, inventory, refund, cancellation or boarding right is offered here. Copperline Harbor cannot access or change a booking. A transaction begun after following an external link is governed by the seller’s current terms. Confirm the domain, departure shore, date, landing statement and monument-access category before payment.

Changing conditions

Ferry operations, ticket names, screening, prohibited items, alerts, weather, exhibits, programs, routes, closures and accessibility services may change before this static guide changes. Current NPS notices, operator terms and on-site staff instructions take priority whenever information differs.

Safety, health and accessibility

Descriptions of wind, heat, boat motion, queues, stairs, elevators and walking are general. They cannot determine whether a trip is safe or suitable for an individual. Confirm services with the responsible operator and park; seek qualified medical advice where appropriate. Follow crew, park staff and emergency-service instructions.

Historical interpretation

The project aims to distinguish institutional evidence from popular myth and to connect monuments with law, engineering and lived experience. Interpretation can change as research and consultation continue. Academic, legal or professional work should use the linked institutional and primary sources.

External websites

External links are provided for official information and source tracing. Copperline Harbor does not control their security, availability, privacy, content or transactions. A link does not create sponsorship, and no affiliate parameter is added.

Reasonable use

Readers may browse and link to public pages. Do not use this design or identity to impersonate Copperline Harbor, the National Park Service or a ferry operator. Photograph reuse remains subject to the separate license stated on the Sources page.

No guarantee

The site is provided as an independent editorial resource without a guarantee that every page is complete, current or suitable for a particular itinerary. This limitation does not replace rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Practical rule: if a fact affects payment, boarding, access or safety, confirm it through the current official source before relying on it.
